Specialiteit: I cannot call myself a real specialist on a certain field of carp angling. I am an observer, both before and during my fishing sessions observation is very important for me. From static angling to fishing with the float, when I spot fish in other swims I do not resist to move!

Favourite water: Closed waters are my favourite, either small or large. Because the fish cannot move out of this type of water, you can normally get a good view of the fish stocks, something that increases my ‘drive’ of catching! Only incidental I fish a river close by my home, although I have the wish to fish it more serious!

Fishing style: I like to focus myself on difficult lakes and to target on a certain big fish. When the lake becomes too busy or the conditions too heavy, I to fish some runs waters as well. Carp fishing also is carp catching for me! By catching several fish on easier waters, I can really persuade on more difficult waters.

Why Strategy: Before I was contacted to become a Strategy consultant I did fish with several Strategy products with full convenience and pleasure. The relaxed atmosphere within the SPRO cooperation, the ‘developed by and for anglers’ feeling and high quality of the Strategy range did not make me hesitate for a single moment. Strategy doesn’t have to fear to competition with (international) carp brands from my point of view!

Pieter van de Werfhorst

Specialiteit: I am very interested in the technical aspect of our hobby. Mainly regarding rigs- and set-ups I am very experimental and carefully adjust my material to different conditions such as bottom structure, type of bait, fish stocks and conditioning.

Favourite water: Next to the many nights and weekends spend at the Dutch lakes and rivers I always fish at least 3 long sessions in France per year. I do choice to fish several waters per year and try to focus myself each season on the water where I expect the best results.

Why Strategy: Strategy is a brand that is becoming very popular and shows a combination of innovation and quality with the new additions in the range. I fully support the Strategy range and hope to contribute to various additions to this range in the near feature!

Klaus Wegmann

Klaus started his fishing career probably like most other carp anglers with competition anglers, ever since he could walk he fished and from his teen ages he discovered carp angling. From that time onwards, he has been hooked by this fishing style… and with truly impressive catches so far!

Klaus has a very intensive fishing style and he works very hard during his session to catch fish.

Logical thinking and a superb preparation help him to achieve the best result. Next to his standard fishing sessions in Germany, Klaus is very active in other European countries as well. He caught big fish from 4 different countries already… with one of the old Cassien warriors as a bonus!

‘Last, but not least’, Klaus is a true gem that likes to share new ideas with fellow anglers and has a lot of respect for fish, angler and nature. This view is shared by the other consultants in the Strategy team. We are convinced that Klaus will feel like a ‘fish in the water’ within the team and as a fieldtester of the Strategy products.

Jan Pirzkall

Jan Pirzkall has a broad experience in the angling trade and carp angling. He assists the Strategy brand on German tradeshows. Furthermore, he often writes articles in German magazines. Jan is a welcome addition to the team and o ers the Strategy & Dynamite Baits shopkeeper a good support.
