Strategy Swivel Lead

Swivel lead still is the most popular lead system in modern carp angling, mainly because of the universal use of lead clips. An important technical detail and unique advantage is that our lead features a swivel with enlarged ring that is placed inside the lead. This makes the connection to the lead clip much easier, but also reduces the friction on the lead when a fish takes the bait. By placing the swivel directly inside the swivel, the rotating characteristic remains which is important with casting (see illustration 1). The connection between a fixed ring and traditional swivel is replaced by this innovative feature (see illustration 2). When the angler has to wait a long time for a take, he should be confident that all parts of his set-up are tailored to perfection?!

Furthermore, all Strategy leads have been designed with a durable plastic matt coating, naturally tailored to the most common bottom colors. This makes the lead robust and longer lasting. Strategy carp leads offer quality and a crafty design with a built-in ‘direct hook penetration’ function.

Strategy Swivel Flat Pear Carp Lead

This universal carp lead is mainly used on hard bottoms. The compact shape with flattened side make it a perfect lead for short to midrange distances. The flattened sides are ideal for fishing slopes, bars etc., but also slow flowing waters.

Strategy Swivel Bomb Carp Lead

A specially developed compact lead shape to improve self-hooking of the fish. When picking up the bait, the fish directly feels the full weight of the lead due to the compact shape and fixed swivel system. To prevent the lead from rolling, we have flattened the sides. Another advantage is the reduced risk of tangling because of the conical shape of the lead.

Strategy Gripper Carp Lead

A perfect choice when more grip to the bottom is required, for example in flowing waters, on slopes, edgy margins and extreme distance fishing. It is proven that the Gripper leads offer an identical grip on the bottom with less required weight compared to normal carp lead. This allows the angler to fish with lighter lead when the conditions ask for it. With an increased popularity for river fishing, the Strategy Gripper is a perfect addition to the range.

Strategy UFO Carp Lead

This lead lays ‘solid as a rock’ at the bottom and is especially developed for vertical fishing when the line runs vertically through the water because of the use of a poly ball construction. Next to that, this lead is a perfect choice for fishing on flowing waters. The conical shape on the top of the lead ensures a reduced risk for tangling of the rig. The full weight of the lead is used for hook penetration at a take, which improves the hook-up ratio.
